The clutch pivot pin fitted to almost all BMWs is a plastic item – the failure of this part is well documented, as it flattens itself off with use and has even been known to snap. Our solution is a steel version, CNC turned right here in the UK from 303 grade stainless. This fits in place of BMW part number 21511223328 – check applications here. This includes many models including: E36 (all models including M3) E39 (all models including M5) E46 (all models including M3 and M3 SMG) E9X (all models including M3) F8X M3/M4 Please check link above for further fitments. Fitting is a gearbox-off job but this is an absolute must-do modification, especially when changing clutch.
