Yes! The KU-1006B uses intelligent auto-negotiation. It will only send power if it detects a PoE-compatible device. If you plug in a standard laptop or PC, it will only transmit data, keeping your hardware safe. Does it require any software configuration? Not at all. It is a completely unmanaged “Plug-and-Play” switch. Simply connect your cables and the power supply, and it starts working immediately. What is the maximum distance for the PoE connection?
